First Engaging Government event
Civil servants interested in the Engaging Government programme are invited to an event on December 14 about putting into practice the Government’s commitment to public engagement in Together We Can and other programmes.
The Together We Can leaflet explains how the Department for Constitution Affairs is supporting groups who wish to form action learning networks (ALNs). The aim is to help people work together across departments, and also share experience with practitioners in the field.
We are looking for a group of champions to work with us in developing
those pilots, and for a further 40 people to take part.
On December 14 we will:
- explain how we see the ALN programme developing
- share knowledge of what’s happening across Government on public engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- work together to form ALNs and plan next steps
If you would like to join us on December 14, 3–5pm at the DCA in Victoria, please email
David Wilcox
– with a sentence or two about your work and your interest. We’ll then send you further details. You can call David on 020 7600 0104.
While the main focus for the action learning networks is people working in Government, we will be running some events with others interested in engagement and collaboration, and networking online.
